DC-DC converters are required to be compact, light, and high efficiency. Soft switching technology enables us to achieve these requirements, and a typical technology is of resonant converter. It is possible to derive new circuits from existing circuits using the topology and the duality of circuit. In this report, we describe the operating characteristics of a current resonant push-pull converter newly derived from an existing voltage resonant push-pull converter. In addition, a large parasitic oscillation appears in the switch voltage, and the cause of the oscillation and the effect of the snubber circuit being added are described. |
