| (in English) | Abstract Innovation of ICT technology is ongoing. Rapid increase of created information is continuing in these decades, which amount is projected to be yotta-byte scale in 2030. While information storage technology to store the gigantic information is also making progress, such as perpendicular recording, the information growth tends to be faster than the technology evolution. Statistics indicate that all created information of the yotta-scale data cannot be stored, and therefore, most of it will be abandoned. A new paradigm of informatics will be required to deal with such ICT technology challenges. We are discussing quality and value of information may be a good approach to manage the “big data”. Empirically we know there are valuable information and unnecessary one. Information processing according to the value and quality may effectively open the new information processing. | |
