| 抄録 | （和） | 当研究所では筋ジストロフィー患者やウェルドニッヒ・ホフマン症患者等の重度肢体不自由者がPCを操作する際のマウス操作が困難となる状況に適合するマウス操作支援アプリケーションを開発している．障害当事者のマウス操作特性を事前に計測し，指の動きに合わせた機能によりマウスカーソルの移動操作を支援する．特に，利用者がマウスを持ち上げられない場合や操作する方向により巧緻性が偏る場合などに対応し，1スイッチ操作によるマウス操作機器を導入する前の段階をフォローする． |
| （英） | We develop mouse operation support application for people with severe physical disabilities(such as a muscular dystrophy, Werdnig-Hoffman disease). When people with severe physical disabilities operate a PC, we will try on them commercially available small mouse, track ball or slide pad just to find that such device do not fit them so well because their upper limb’s movable range is so small and less dexterous. To cope with such difficulties and to assist users’ operations to move the mouse cursor t we have developed an application that is tuned with an operation profile of the arms and the finger. In particular, the developed application has an additional function to compensate user’s mouse cursor’s large movement operations so that it can just fit in the cases where they cannot lift up the mouse or let the fingers off the slide pad. | |
