(in English) We simulated the characteristic improvement by changing the erbium doping profile on the ring core Er-doped fiber (EDF), which attracts attention as an amplification medium of the few-mode Er-doped fiber amplifier for mode division multiplex transmission. It is confirmed that the differential modal gain which is one of the important parameters for the EDF can be adjusted by changing the profile, and is possible to make zero by adopting the suitable profile.
