[Invited Lecture] OMRON's Activity on 920MHz Wireless Communication and Wi-SUN

(in English) The wireless communication with 920MHz radio band is suitable for sensor networks from the viewpoint of the balance among data rate, power consumption and communication range. In this presentation, as examples of the application of the wireless communication with 920MHz radio band, FEMS (Factory Energy Management System), Bridge Monitoring System and Environment Sensors are introduced together with Wi-SUN RLMM Profile, a wireless communication standard employing Sub-GHz bands including 920MHz bands which is designed for devices such as battery powered sensors.
