Micro cell base stations introduced to 5G mobile systems cannot provide wide coverage area because of its propagation characteristics and their deployment costs. Therefore, authors propose to deploy micro cell base station by private companies (not mobile operators) to their private areas. The “private” micro cell base stations are expected to utilize same frequency bands with mobile operators’. In this paper, we evaluate the increase of total throughputs and throughputs per user equipment (UE) by introducing the spectrum sharing method by computer simulations. Furthermore, we also evaluate the influences of diversity of subscribers at operators, and different mix of application types on UEs. |
