Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In the current wireless LAN, All the frame errors are corrected for many times, until the number of retransmission reaches the redundant retransmission persistency.
Such retransmissions cause inappropriate delay for real time communication.
In this paper, we propose a configuration method of the optimum retransmission persistency for real time communication frames, which satisfies the permissible frame error rate and inhibits the transmission time.
A conditional expression where the frame transmission time is below the allowable delay $D$ and a conditional expression where the frame error rate is below permissible error rate $p$ are formulated, and the maximum value of $n$ satisfying this two conditional expression is configured as the optimum retransmission persistency.
Comparison with the conventional scheme are also shows that the frame transmission rate is improved by using the optimal retransmission persistency number derived from the proposed scheme .
Furthermore, this improvement effect is significant when the SNR is small.
