Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In the smart grid, each consumer has a smart meter that communicates with electricity companies and other consumers and gets to decide power consumption according to the electricity market price. Many renewable resources will be connected to the grid as part of a worldwide effort to reduce carbon emissions. Increasing renewable resources means increasing the number of "sellers". It is difficult to set a price of the energy market consist of multi-seller - multi-buyer. Also, Increasing sellers that use renewable energy resources introduces new challenges in scheduling and dispatching controllable resources to follow the net load and control the power balance in the system In this thesis, we define impact on consumers’ utility, i.e., the difference between consumers’ utility when they consume the optimal power and one when they reduce power consumption. Then we aim to minimize the impact. We propose two methods: One-Time Demand Response and Foresight Demand Response. Through simulation, we see proposed methods can improve consumers’ welfare. Foresight Demand Response also improve consumers’ welfare three times compared with One-Time Demand Response.
