A TCP ACK congestion control method for data transfer over Wi-Fi

(in English) We report evaluation results that our TCP ACK congestion control method improved data transfer throughput over Wi-Fi by 30%. TCP data transfer throughput is often limited because of half duplex nature of Wi-Fi which is based on CSMA/CA method. We aimed to improve efficiency of TCP data transfer by reducing TCP's ACK packets, introducing delay-based congestion control for ACK packets. We show experimental results by a real world test bed.
