Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) When compressing the chest, the compression position is considered to be one of the factors affecting the survival rate. However, it has been reported that approximately 65% of life-saving person squeeze at inappropriate positions, and an effective method of learning compression position has not been established. Therefore, we have developed a feedback device for notifying the displacement of the compression position by reproducing the vibration on the simulator when the rib fracture occurs due to the compression at an inappropriate position. In this paper, we propose a new method of learning compression position using chest compressions simulator equipped with the feedback device, and evaluated the correction effect of the compression position. As a result, we succeeded in improving the accuracy of the compression position without affecting the number of effective pressing times (number of compressions ensuring the compression depth of 5 cm or more).
