Video Stabilization by Image Shifting for HMD-based Telexistence -- Evaluation of the Proposed Method --

(in English) In the Telexistence system, communication delay causes a video delay from operator motion. In HMD-based System, difference between the motion sence and displayed video causes problem such as simulator sickness. In this report, we proposed a method to solve the shaking world in the video image caused by the end-to-end delay without estimating the delay time, and evaluated it. For each with and without correction we extract target position in video image, and estimated the equivalent video delay for head motion. We confirmed that the without correction delay of 629[ms] decreases to 43[ms].
