Effects of a Greeting in the Beginning of Distance Presentation on Viewer's Impression and Comprehension

(in English) In communication, opening greetings are important. If the effects of opening greetings on improvement of presentation are clarified, it is expected to be useful for applications such as VOD content improvement. This study verified the influences of the opening greetings in the distance presentation on viewer’s impressions for presenters and comprehension. Questionnaires and tests were used to score and analyze impressions and comprehension levels, respectively. As a result of that, the opening greeting leads to positive impressions, however it became clear that there seemed not to be effective in encouraging comprehension.
