MRI Acceleration by Super Resolution

(in English) MR imaging currently takes a long imaging time in some applications such as 3D imaging and faster imaging speed is required. Several acceleration techniques have been proposed, and recently one of the most promising approaches is compressed sensing. This method successfully reduces the data acquisition time sufficiently to be used for clinical use. However, this does not lead to reduction of total examination time because the reconstruction time becomes longer up to about thirty to fifty minutes and it’s too long for clinical use. In this work, we discuss Super Resolution via Deep Neural Network approach to reduce the total examination time.
