Kansei Improvement Process and its Support System for Support Artistic Activity

(in English) In order to create impressive and sophisticate artistic artifacts, such as paintings and musical pieces, we need to improve Kansei. Kansei is a sense of perceiving beauty and is regarded as characteristics of artifacts that we prefer. However, since we often have limited viewpoints, it is sometimes difficult for us to recognize various characteristics. This paper proposes Kansei improvement process in which characteristics of artifacts are discovered. In addition, we focus on the artistic activity of drawing pictures using circles and develop the support system for improving Kansei. Based on the experimental use of the system, validity of the Kansei improvement process and effectiveness of the support system are evaluated.
