Antenna design for the sparse array and the array pattern optimization

(in English) We introduce a method of the optimization for the antenna array and apply it to the two-dimensional sparse array system to be used for the 3D imaging of the inner structure of building walls. The method searches a minimum of the cost function based on the 3D point spread function of the array in order to find the layout with better imaging performance. We found a solution for the simulated problem and discussed the ways of improving the imaging resolution. Using the array pattern of the radar system that we used in the study as the initial parameters, the optimization algorithm decreased an average side lobes level 1.41 times in terms of cost function we used
