Quantum dot sensitized solar cells are expected as highly efficient low cost solar cells. A fine particle film is mainly used as a photoelectrode of a conventional quantum dot sensitized solar cell. However, in the fine particle film, there are many interfaces between the particles, and recombination of electrons is large. This is considered to hinder the improvement of the power generation efficiency of the solar cell. Therefore, the columnar type film with few interfaces was prepared by hydrothermal synthesis. The prepared thin film was measured by XRD and XPS and observed by SEM. Quantum dots were adsorbed to the thin film by the CBD method, and a quantum dot-sensitized solar cell was fabricated and evaluated using it as a photo electrode. |
