[Invited Talk] Application of Virtualization Techniques to Mobile Networks

(in English) Couple years ago, Advanced Telecommunication Computing Architecture had standard approach for all mobile operators. The Architecture
became legacy architecture when Network Virtualization Function(NFV) appeared to the world. Recently, mobile operators has been
optimizing their networks with virtualization approach.NTT DOCOMO is one of the leading operator of NFV movement in the world. This
article analyze background of introducing Network Function Virtualization by Mobile Operators from NTT DOCOMO's point of view and
introduce NTT DOCOMO's NFV situation, advantage of NFV and effect of commercial deployment, standardization activities. In addition,
this article also introduce our feature strategy of NFV based of our experience.
