Characteristics of color scheme affecting accessibility

(in English) Web accessibility has become more and more important to Web contents with the spread of the Internet. The standard for Web accessibility, Japanese Industrial Standard X 8341-3 was published in 2016 and is testable because it defined success criteria. However, since the evaluation based on the standard has a large number of evaluation items and the evaluation cost is high, it is the current situation that correspondence of Web accessibility is not popular. In this paper, we examined the color scheme of panels produced by people who are not familiar with accessibility, using the design of the panel of the exhibition site as a theme. As a result, it was found that the contrast ratio of the red letters used for emphasis is different from the appearance feeling. Even though there was consciousness of accessibility correspondence, it was suggested that lack of knowledge is one factor that does not go forward.
