Report on Image Quality and System Performance XIV

(in English) Image Quality and System Performance (IQSP) is held at Electronic Imaging, which is an annual comprehensive international conference on image engineering. In this conference, industry and academic engineers and researchers seeking to improve the image quality gather together to discuss ways to identify the requirements of the modern imaging system and evaluate the performance. Focus on objective and subjective methods to evaluate the perceived quality of the image, covering from recording to processing, output, printing or displaying, movie or still image, 2D or 3D, LDR or HDR imaging system-wide applications. IQSP was held 14th this year, and a large number of presentations and discussions were held. This report will select and present topics of particular interest from IQSP 14 held in January 2017 as an international trend survey report on image quality assessment research.
