Digital watermark detection method based on feature point matching using RANSAC algorithm

(in English) The geometrical attack easily remove watermark data for the still image. We miss the synchronization of embedding position and it becomes impossible to detect the watermark information. In this paper, we performed feature point matching between the original image and the modified image using the local features, and estimate the projective transformation matrix based on the RANSAC algorithm. The methods detect the embedding position by performing inverse transformation on the modified image. We investigated the luminance value and watermark information changed by the projective transformation of scaling or rotation. We embedded on middle region of frequency domain on DCT. As a result, we realize a scheme resistant to scaling and rotation attacks.
