(in English) Recent development of the science and technology, especially the information technology, enabled the third countries and non-state actors to access the latest science and technology. Traditionally, the military superiority and the strategic stability were enjoyed exclusively by the power countries, but have become threatened by the new actors, for example by A2/AD (Anti Access/ Area Denial) threats. Under such backgrounds, the US Navy started to reconstruct the electronic warfare by the Electromagnetic Maneuver Warfare (EMW) concept, regarding the electromagnetic and cyber space (Information Environment: IE) as a new combat domain. In this presentation, brief explanation of the US Navy’s Electromagnetic Maneuver Warfare is given, and also the anticipated aspects in the future warfighting and focused technological areas are described with some personal opinions.
