Design and implementation of large scale online testing system targeted at undergraduate students

(in English) We are now accepting a variety of students in many universities.
To educate every students, we have provided online testing systems in every regular classes and the systems have been successfully operating. When students were judged as students who need more efforts, they are indicated to go to follow-up classes to compensate their skills, and make exercises using the online testing systems. In such testing systems, the item response theory is incorporated to enhance the evaluation accuracy and reliability. The number of students in testing is about 1000, and the subjects dealt with here are basic analysis and linear algebra. We introduce the designing and implementation to such online testing systems, and then report how the systems worked.
One of the key points for success that the systems work well is the ease of use to item registration.
Learning analytics is also introduced.
