On the EM transmission property of a rectangular hole in a thick conducting screen -- Calculation of the transmission coefficient and power flow distributions --

(in English) The transmission coefficient of a rectangular hole in a thick conducting screen is calculated for various structural parameters (aperture sizes, aspect ratios, and screen's thicknesses) and some incident angles by using the exact solution, which was obtained by the Kobayashi potential (KP) method, and we examine the transmission property of the rectangular hole for the EM plane wave incidence. Since the calculation code developed in the past has some errors for the case of the aperture larger than the half-wavelength, we especially recalculate the numerical data for large apertures by improving the code. In addition, the Poynting vector is calculated for various aperture sizes and aspect ratios, and we visualize the power flow around the aperture by means of the 2D vector plot.
