(in English) Passengers’ aggressive behavior often prevents the safety and security of other passengers and staffs in public transportation. Such aggressive behavior can be one of the issues of occupational safety and health especially for railway station staff. However, it is difficult to consider measures to reduce the aggressive behavior because how the environmental and situational factors of the stations influence the aggressive behavior is unclear. Therefore, we attempted to reveal the actual situation of trouble between passengers and the staff which likely to lead to aggressive behavior and the factors influencing passengers’ behavior at the stations through a questionnaire survey of passengers. We report the method, results and challenges of the survey.
