Graph compression by tree grammars and direct evaluation of a node selection query on a compressed graph

(in English) Graphs expressing relationships between real-world data tend to be extremely large, and researches on graph compression have been conducted such as gRePair. However, there is no experimental study on direct query evaluation on compressed graphs. In this research, we propose a method for compressing graphs into tree grammars called SLCFTG and a direct query evaluation method without decompression. Experimental results on some actual RDF data show that while the compression ratio was slightly inferior to gRePair, the time required for the direct query evaluation was 15% to 40%, and the amount of memory was less than 5% compared with the traditional query evaluation using decompression in almost cases.
