(in English) Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) with energy-harvesting has gained much attention since it enables long-time and efficient information gathering from a vast area. Mathematically speaking, energy harvesting is a stochastic power source, and thus the major practical difficulty of WSNs is how to realize efficient and reliable communications with limited energy. To this end, this paper experimentally evaluates the performance of
receiver-driven asynchronous medium access control (MAC) protocol using Lazurite Sub-GHz manufactured by LAPIS Semiconductor Co., Ltd and reveals practical problems to realize WSNs with energy harvesting. We also study how to overcome these difficulties.
