In recent years, the frequency of the signal on the parallel transmission line is a several GHz and more. On the GHz band, diapersibility of the dielectric material is cause of the attenuation of signal and the electro- magnetic radiation from transmission line and board, increment of the crosstalk. In this research, the relationship between dielectic loss and attenuation of the signal transmittied on the parallel line in FR-4 substrate is discused. The complex permittivity is measured by a balanced-type circular disk resonator and SPDR. Transmission characteristics $S_{text{dd21}}$ in parallel transmission line is measured. By comparison of the measured and calculated values of transmission characteristics, the relationship between complex permittivity and transmission characteristics is appeared. |
