Study on Ultrasonic Emulsification Condition using Microchannel Device

(in English) In this study, a condition of generating emulsion has been observed and evaluated. The emulsion is generated in the microchannel plate by using radiated ultrasonic vibration oscillated by a piezoelectric element. In this device, the micrometer size droplets generated by the sheer force in Y-type microchannel are sonicated to generate nano emulsions. The dependency of applied voltage and radiation time of the vibration to the droplet diameter has been evaluated using dynamic scattering method.
