[Invited Talk] Realization of 252ch real-time processing of SENZI binaural sound-space sensing and reproduction method

(in English) It is crucially important to reproduce accurate auditory spatial information around listeners for development of advanced multimedia communications systems. We have developed a binaural synthesis method combinedly using spherical microphone arrays and head-related transfer functions (HRTFs) datasets. This method is called SENZI (Symmetrical object with ENchased Zillion microphones). The method is being developed as a real-time system using a spherical microphone array and field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs). In this report, we introduce the method and real-time SENZI system using a 252ch spherical microphone array.
