Performance evaluation of downlink multi-beam massive MIMO by simple transmission scheme by both base and terminal stations

(in English) Multi-beam massive MIMO con guration has been proposed that utilizes the beam selection with high power in an analog part and blind algorithm such as constant modulus algorithm (CMA) which does not need channel state information (CSI) in a digital part. In this paper, we evaluate the transmission performance in the downlink with a simple control at the base station and user terminal by the massive MIMO transmission. By the computer simulation, it is shown that the multi-beam selection at the base station and CMA at the user terminal with two antennas can effectively realize the transmission with high order modulation scheme.
