Development of visual image sharing system for preoperative conference

(in English) In recent years, 3D models of surgical target area made by 3D printer are being utilized in preoperative meetings. However, in the process of discussing the surgical procedure, the difference in viewing angle of the model between the attending physician and other medical staff caused the observation of the route from the incision site to the affected area being different for both parties. In this research, we aim to develop a visual image sharing system that smoothly shares 3D-CG of the surgical target area to the attending physician and other medical staff to solve this problem. As a basic research, we proposed two visual presenting methods utilizing 3D-CG and examined their usability.
