Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Speech conveys not only linguistic information but also paralinguistic and non-linguistic information such as emotions, attitudes, and intentions. If the spoken dialogue system can recognize paralinguistic information,it is possible to conduct more human-like natural dialogue. In this research,in order to realizing a spoken dialogue system that recognizes the mental state of a speaker,we propose a method of recognizing emotions contained in speech. Emotional speech data which is recorded with acting is classified into three types of emotion data. DNN is used for recognition and the result is compared to that by SVM.
