In recent years, in order to identify of fish species using echo sounder, there is a tendency that higher frequency sound waves are applied at echo sounder using the identify of fish species. If high frequency is used in echo sounder, the influence of the detailed shape of the bone other than the size and shape of the fish on the scattered wave is considered to be larger. In this report, we use a fish body model containing swim bladder, skull, and spine. The amplitude variation of scattered waveform by rotates of fish body model and changing the sound source frequency was calculated by numerical method. When the sound source frequency is 100 kHz, it is found to the characteristic of angle of object - scattering wave amplitude be symmetric in the model with fish bone. The frequency component is obtained by FFT analysis from scattering waveform. As a result, it is found that the higher frequency components as 70 kHz, 100 kHz have asymmetric characteristics with bone. For this reason, it is determine that detailed structure of the bone of the fish influences characteristic of scattering because of the improvement of the frequency resolution. |
