(in English) A voice guidance system installed in public space is very helpful for visually impaired people. However, it is hard to hear announcement under noisy environment, and announcement itself can become noise for neighborhood. We are trying to improve voice guidance system and conducted an experiment to evaluate effectiveness of speech intelligibility enhancement technique on existing voice guidance system. As a result of listening experiment by five visually impaired people and interview from them, we confirmed that easiness of listening under noisy environment can be improved by announcement created using speech intelligibility enhancement technique on existing voice guidance system, and also realized that implementation can be done easily.
