A Study on a Speedup Method for Group Formation Time of Terminal to Terminal Communication Using Wi-Fi Direct

(in English) Terminal to Terminal communication using Wi-Fi Direct can be used for communication in disaster stricken areas. In such situations, communication infrastructures have broken down and mobile communication devices cannot communicate as usual. When you use Terminal to Terminal communication to spread information in an area with many devices, making groups of devices and spreading information over the group is better than one to one communication with the devices. The existing algorithm for group formation has a problem where the devices' waiting time is too long. The waiting time exists to avoid collisions. Therefore, we propose a new method to avoid collisions and to cut waiting time. In our method, devices send noti cation signals before and after group formations. Then, this paper evaluates the group formation time using the existing method and using our proposed method.
