A Development of a Digital Tool Box to Deepen thought of Learner in Remote Joint Lesson

(in English) We expect that students in primary or junior high school get not only the attitude to join in remote class and the competency to communicate with the colleagues of other side, but also the ability to deepen and expand the target learning content through a remote joint class. Through the practice of the remote joint class for primary schoolchildren in Hagi-shi, Yamaguchi, we think that we could make an opportunity to give children various thoughts from the remote school. However, they don’t reach the situation where they deepen and expand their thoughts through learning activities such as “She/He compares her/his an opinion or idea with her/his colleagues” and “She/He relates the colleague’s way of thinking or idea with her/his way of thinking or idea”. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to support the learning activity of the student in the remote joint lesson through implementing some tools to deepen or expand the thought of the student on a collaborative learning tool (“Tsunagaru Jyugyo Appli”) as a digital tool box. In this paper, we extract and arrange the present problem in the remote joint, and explain the concept of the digital tool box. Moreover, we explain the function of “Labeling Tool” to make the thinking activity outside and the function of “Learning Activity Planning Tool” to visualize a flow of learning activity and communication.
