Investigation to Apply Extensible Learning Support System to A Distributed Multi-Platform Learning Environment

(in English) This report investigates a distributed multi-platform learning environment based on Extensible Learning Environment with Courseware Object Architecture (ELECOA). ELECOA features a concept of courseware object which enables a flexibility to ensure both function extensibility and content reusability. Previous investigations identify four basic inter-courseware-object communication patterns applicable to implement various self-learning and group learning environments. In addition, design patterns have been investigated for courseware objects to be compliant with these communication patterns. This report discusses an application of these communication patterns for a design of learning environment distributed on multi-platform including web server and smartphone.
