Automated respiration phase matching for respiratory synchronized DSA

(in English) To visualize the vessel structure, digital subtraction angiography (DSA) image is acquired in the interventional treatment for thoracoabdominal organs. Patient has to hold their breathing during DSA acquisition to avoid the artifacts due to breathing. We have previously proposed a breath-hold free DSA image acquisition method to reduce the strain of patient. In this paper, we automated it based on a machine-learning method. The random forest algorithm was used to construct the identification model. The constructed identification model was applied to clinical data and the performance of it was quantitatively evaluated. As a result, over 80% of median values was correctly identified in 13 data out of 15 data.
