In this study, the cardiac phase of an image sequence of real-time Cine-MRI without an electrocardiogram synchronization was classified into the same cardiac phase and averaging was enabled. As an automatic classification for cardiac phase, we propose a phase detection using ventricular space. To detect phase, the area of the ventricular lumen is calculated, and a minimum value is obtained. Then, the heartbeat and the cardiac phase of each heartbeat were calculated based on a minimum value. We report the results of the evaluation of the improvement in image quality by averaging. |
