A Proposal of Color Calibration Method Based on Projection of Color Components for Images Taken by Different Cameras

(in English) In this report, a new color calibration method for two images taken by different cameras is proposed. The method assumes that image sizes are same and contents (composition) in the images are almost same. One of the images is called as an input image, and the other is called as a reference image. The proposed method converts colors in an input image so that these are similar to colors in a reference image. Color components in an output image are obtained by linear projection of color components in an input image, and projection coefficients are obtained by solving an optimization problem which formulated for each image. We confirmed that output images obtained by the proposed method are subjectively good through experiments.
