Study on Hotel Guide for People with Visual Impairment -- Functions of Guide and its Construction --

(in English) Visually impaired people need information in advance about hotel they stay. A previous information about hotel removes, or decreases: (i) anxiety for staying hotel, and (ii) barriers and difficulties in dealing with situation in hotel. In this report, we build certain hotel guides for people with acquired visual impairments, and discuss its practical use and usefulness for both visually impaired people and service providers. We further point out the importance of this kind of information delivery from the point of Disability Discrimination Act.
