Wireless communication for train control systems is required to increase a data transmission rate in order to improve the convenience of use. Extending bandwidth and multilevel mapping techniques are effective for high-rate data transmission. In terms of spectral efficiency, multilevel mapping techniques are usually used. However, the distance between signal points in constellation is small. We have already proposed a multilevel mapping scheme, relative space mapping modulation, in order to increase the distance between signal points, and evaluated the performance by computer simulation and field experiment. This paper shows the performance of proposal method under the railway environment by field experiment. |
