In manufacturing factories, electromagnetic waves radiated from machines range up to microwave frequency bands used for wireless communication. They are a burden to introduce wireless communication systems to the factories. We measured electromagnetic environment in a factory with large metal-milling machines and captured the electromagnetic waves from the machine. We analyzed the electromagnetic waves and revealed that some of them had periodicity and regularity of spectrum. We also showed an approach to modeling them by categorizing them based on the analysis. |
