Contrast sensitivity function for peripheral vision is defined by measuring sensable thresholds of grating stimuli.
We have proposed a method to produce a wide angle visual image that does not contain imperceptible stimuli by a local spatial frequency filtering following this visual characteristic.
In this paper, we evaluate the superiority of the proposed method by a subject experiment as to whether the produced filtered images correctly contain the human perceptible stimuli. |
