EOG Gaze Estimation for Silent Reading -- 1st Report --

(in English) Our research group aims to develop an inexpensive and simple dyslexia (reading disorder) evaluation system based on EOG (electro-oculo-graphy) gaze estimation instead of the conventional camera-type eye tracker. In this paper, ocular movements of silent readers are measured with both a camera-type eye tracker and an EOG measuring device, in order to compare-analyze the number of visual points and the distances among visual points. As results, it was confirmed that the proposed EOG gaze estimation had sufficient accuracy for dyslexia evaluation.
