This paper investigated the suppression of high-order mode transmission on CBCPW line by using via-holes and defected ground structure. It was confirmed by simulation that the via-to-via pitch is one third wavelength, effective distance from the signal line of via hole is one quarter wavelength, defected ground structure can shift the generation of higher order mode from 1.7 GHz to 4.6 GHz . |
