A solution to the inverse Ising problem in tree-reweighted approximation

(in English) We apply the tree-reweighted approximation to the Ising spin models with random interactions that gives a rigorous upper bound of the partition function. Owing to the binary and pair-wise nature of the Ising models, we can explicitly derive the fixed-point equations for the local expectation values (magnetizations). Using the fixed-point equations, we compute the correlations of spins as functions of the local expectation values by the linear-response theory. Furthermore, we show that the formulae of the correlations can be inverted, which results in the solution of the inverse Ising models in this approximation. Finally, we compare the accuracies of the inverse Ising solutions to those which are calculated by the other approximations. In the numerical experiments of the inverse Ising problems, we found that the tree-reweighted approximation is superior to the Bethe approximation in a two-dimensional grid and a fully-connected models.
