A system for feeding electricity to a moving electric vehicle from an electrified roadway has been widely investigated. In this study, we designed and fabricated a prototype RF inverter to be used as a power source for the EVER (Electric Vehicle on Electrified Roadway) system. The oscillation circuits for this inverter include mainly the Hartley oscillator and the Colpitts oscillator, we compare the performance of these circuits. We aim at high efficiency of the overall inverter circuits by improving also the amplifier and matching circuits. |
