Concurrent Sensor Data Streaming in Passive Backscatter Communications

(in English) This paper proposes a novel multiple access method which enables concurrent sensor data streaming from multiple passive backscatter terminals. The interference cancellation among multiple streaming is done by producing harmonic replicas of backscatter signals. The challenge of this idea is the derivation of accurate harmonic replica from zero crossing signal which improves the signal resolution of inherently weak backscatter signal. This paper proposes a replica generation with an analytic signal produced by Hilbert Transformation. The produced harmonic replica is projected back to a zero cross signal to be subtracted from the received signal. Numerical simulation and prototype 920MHz system verify the theory and the implementation.
