[Poster Presentation] Analysis of relationship between pattern-matching-based game strategies and the percentage of template matching collation per template size
Masataka Nakano, Yoshiki Yamaguchi (Univ. of Tsukuba) CPSY2017-53
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) This paper proposes a template-based TRAX game player and unveils the
significance of template sizes in the evaluation. TRAX is one of the
two-person zero-sum games of perfect information. The proposed
approach finds the next move by using pattern matching. In the
approach, there are around 300 templates which include various size
templates from 2$times$2 to 8$times$8. This experimental result seems the percentage
of template matching collation from 2$times$2 to 4$times$4 is over 90% and
in spite of low percentage of template matching collation, big templates
like 7$times$7 or 8$times$8 contribute to the strength of the TRAX player.
